(Floating a test bubble, and preparing for the 1938 election)
Many 'moderate' Syndicalists within the the Anaracho-Bolsheviks blamed the leadership of the Left for the impending defeat of progressive parties in the 1936 election to the Center. These people claimed that the leadership would rather engage in rhetoric about overthrowing the monarchial traditions of the past rather than actually help the working class. These Syndicalists were horrified at reports that the Anarcho-Bolsheviks were being funded by France, and began searching for a different party to pledge themselves to. At the same time, there were a few disgruntled members in the old Weltreich party who disagreed with the merger of the Weltreich into the LCP, and desired for the establishment of the ideal technocracy. As a result, the Syndicalists and the Weltreichians joined up together to form the "New Weltreich", less a party, and more of a pragmatic Marxist ideology loosely controlled by a council of rotating "Party Presidents" with a political platform carefully crafted to keep the loose alliance together.
(apologies, OAM)
Alignment: The New Weltreich is
"Technocractic" like the previous Weltreich, valuing scientific progress as a way to increase the living standards of society while removing class conflict. It believes in individual freedom, but also believes in national unity in times of crisis. It is a combination of Social-Liberal and Authortarian. The New Weltreich has however adopted a new political platform of creating Syndicates within Germany, united by a central government in Berlin, introducing a Syndicalist aspect to the Technocracy.
Government: The German Empire has been oppressed by the rich classes. However, the Kasier is not to blame for the class oppression. Rather, the Kasier is a leader of our glorious nation, leading both the rich Germans and the poor Germans. Rather than calling for the abolishment of the monarchy, the New Weltreich calls for reforming the oppressive German Empire into a progressive
Syndicalist Monarchy, where the Kasier would preside over a union of socialist German Syndicates and would take charge of their foriegn policy, and advised by delegates from each of the German Syndicates.
Relationship with Syndicates: We are willing to be friends with fellow Syndicalists, as long as they agree to be friends with us. After all, we both prefer the same government, that of Syndicalism. Sadly, many so-called "Syndicates" are willing to use Syndicalism merely as an excuse to bully other nations into following their will, even going so far as to wage wars of conquest against any nation they wish to deem "reactionary", for nothing more than land and glory.
We will not join up with the Internationale nor will we subject ourselves to being Internationale Puppets, but we are willing to be friends with the Syndicates in support of the struggle of all freedom-loving peoples against oppression.
As a gesture of friendship, we urge the French Syndicate to give up its territorial demands on Alsace-Lorraine.
Campagin Finance Reform: The New Weltreich has adopted a policy of not accepting campagin donations from anyone outside of the German Empire, and we urge all parties to do the same. We support
an explicit ban on political donations from outside of the German Empire, and this ban should be enforced.
Social Justice: In order to begin the process of economic prosperity for all, and not just for the rich, we urge for the abolishment of the free market, moving towards
a centrally-planned economy backed with extensive social programs, including health care and education.
Technology: Germany must begin a process of modernizing not only its army, but also its empire. We urge for the German government to
embark on a policy of "scientific reform", devoting more money to funding technology, and organizing our entire society around scientific progress. Only through Science can we seek to end class conflict.
Universal Suffrage:
For women's rights. Women have been oppressed as much as the working class have. They deserve the vote.
Universal Citizenship: We have many colonies, but we have refused to give even the most minor of rights to the natives living in those colonies. This must change. We support
citizenship to every person living in our colonial empire.
Military Doctrine: We support the
modernization of the German military, so as to defend Germany. We are opposed to a reduction of the German army however, as current events requires Germany to keep its army at a state of alert.
Mitteleuropean Policy: We are for a
Democratic European Union, so as to lessen tensions throughout Europe and create economic prosperity for all.
German Territorial Claims: Germans today desire to be united into one nation. We must support such unification using
peaceful means, only using force if the German populations are being threatened.
Pacifism/Realpolitik/Jingoism/Reactionism:
Realpolitik. Pacifism is a nice idea in theory, but the world is far too violent for us to resort to it currently. Fences make for good neighbors.
At the same time, Pacifism ignores the real oppression of the working class. There may be many progressive countries and movements that are threatened by reactionaries, and sometimes, violence is necessary to defend the revolution. Realpolitik is the compromise between Jingoism and Pacifism.
