A large scale attack on the city of Debrecen effectively signaled the end of the Hungarian empire. Columns of tanks spearheaded the attack into the city and the Hungarians soon found themselves struggling to hold the city streets.
The sad news. Our friends in France have lost their capital.
General Mazarini was the first to get a foothold in the region and this puts our troops within striking distance of Budapest. It also gives us an airfield within Hungary, so the air force was redeployed.
The liberation of Slovakia is considered a paramount objective, therefore it is necessary to take Kocise. The region promptly falls with little resistance.
Seeking to gain the advantage and edge closer to Budapest a two pronged attack takes place. The Hungarians of course only continue to increase there resolve to hold the line. As we dig deeper they fight harder.

Yeah I had a bad stint of laziness going on.
The attack continues to drag on in Szeged but we shall prevail in the end.
Things are slow down in Yugoslavia due to a vast hills making travel difficult so the city of Dubrovnik will be captured to clear the way to bringing the Mostar line falling down. Mostar is the biggest obstacle to any push in the area due to its rough mountainous terrain where even Romanian tanks bog down. If Mostar goes Sarajevo will fall.
The battle in central Hungary is becoming an increasingly bitter struggle as Romanian troops find themselves force to fight in urban environments against massive resistance. The death toll only gets higher and reserve manpower is beginning to stretch to the breaking point.
More troops are thrown into the fray.
The breakthrough needed at Szeged was achieved and forces from that sector were redirected to support the north.
Realizing that Budapest was undefended, General Mazarini attempted to storm the city with his forces in hopes of cutting of Hungarian reinforcements.
With the way to Mostar open, three armies converged on the mountains intent on driving the Huns out of their stronghold.
Faced with attacks from three directions, the Huns finally fold under the weight.
Rapidly reinforcing the city with troops brought by railway from Austria, the Huns unfortunately foiled Mazarini's plan.
With anger mounting in the halls of government back in Bucharest, the Generals at the front soon brought a rain of steel down on the city of Miskolc.
Massed artillery brought to the front to pound the enemy into submission
When news of the capture of Mostar reached the men in the northern front it seemed to give them a boost of confidence and results were soon positive.
Facing utter annihilation the Huns fall back to their capital.
France wont last much longer and it looks like the British may soon be withdrawing their armies from France.
The Huns counterattacked the advance force as they were securing Miskolc. It matters not since they wont be able to take the province back once the main army arrives.
In Yugoslavia the Serbs attempt to strike into southern Hungary but are hindered by the lack of bridging equipment.
The campaign continues to go well in Slovakia with little resistance on the Huns part, despite it being considered an integral part of their nation.
The air force has been given some new toys fresh from the factory lines.
The Serb attack into Osijek failed unfortunately.

Word around the foreign quarter of Bucharest is that the British holdout is withdrawing from Normandy.

I know that nasty doctrines. It's awesome if you are playing as Germany, sucks if you are not.
Seeing that a direct attack on Budapest would be suicidal, it was decided that a strategy of envelopment was necessary to strangle the city.
I don't know haw they manage but the Hungarians continue to reinforce Mostar.

In revenge a strike is ordered against enemy forces in Slovakia. They didn't stand a chance.
We must sweep aside all opposition.

As for news back home, mutterings have emerged of a new group of intellectuals calling themselves the Bucharest Circle. The minister of security warns of them, but how could they be a threat?

In National France a high ranking General was killed in a car accident while driving home from an inspection. Needless to say this is a blow to the leadership of the Exiles. While most of their lower and middle class civilians who came during the exodus have been keen to intermingle with the natives, the Leadership is still suppressive an suspicious of the Algerians.
Bratislava was taken and the way is now open to strike at Budapest.
Afterward Under executive order from Codreanu himself ordered a full 42 divisions to converge on the city and strike at the Hungarian heart. Nearly a million men at arms was more than the Hungarians could ever hope to stop. Fully half of all Romanian men in arms like an unstoppable wave of steel, bullets and blood.

An attack on vienna is in order the enemy must not be given the oppertunity claim a seat of government from one of europes great capitals.

An attack was lauched against Gyor and met with overwhelming success.
As promised Slovakie is now a nation free from hungarian tyranny. once the war is over political control will be relinquished and Josef Tizo will have rull control of this new nation.
After a failed attempt at stopping the Germans, the Commune of France has ceased to be. A provisional government has been set up by the germans in Paris.
We easily crushed a halfassed attempt at pushing us out of Gyor.
Pecs is taken pushing the Huns out of Hungary proper.
We capture linz and reach the German border, where Romanian troops shook hands and exchanged drinks with the Imperial German Border Gaurds.

KR doesn't have many surrender events, does it? I know there's a lot of animosity between Hungary and Romania, but to lose Hungary proper and keep on fighting...
