One line summary of your issue

As discussed in this thread, Focus: Venom says that it has a certain chance to cause poison. It does not state any restrictions on which units it can poison. However, there are some (perhaps all) mechanical units on which it does not trigger a poison roll. This would make sense if mechanical units had a status effect immunity to biochemical, but they do not typically indicate this. And, some mechanical units can be poisoned by some things (see here).

What platform are you running the game on?

STEAM

Which version of the game are you running?

v1.302.42154

What expansions do you have installed?

Revelations, Invasions

Additional thoughts: Should all mechanical units simply have status effect immunity to biochemical?

Hey Alterum, thanks for the report. I'll have somebody look into it but I suspect they just forgot to write 'to Biological and Cyborg Units' behind it like most other Poison Abilities have.
