We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.

They are still there, but not displayed by default.
To quote myself:

Check that "Threads with last post from:" is set to "Forever".
Then on "Set Options" and after a second or so the threads will appear.
That's complete nonsense for stickied threads, FAQs and such.
.....I also can't find a way to set my own default thread display for the forum, as i could in the old one.

Try:
Log out and log into your Paradox Account again.
Somehow forum and PA is still seperate and soemhow this suposedly happens for some...i didn't fully understand the issue.
I log in fresh everyday and have no problem with this method.
I don't understand any of this but for me the FAQ threads are not displaying either.

click on "Thread Display options" (it's at the bottom center of the last displayed thread ),
then click on "Set Options" to the right.

Rumour has it, that it doesn't work if you don't log in through your Paradox Account:
