https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfi...ty.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1582535080 TI know the devs are remaking the mod from the ground up. I think this is an opportunity to fix a lot of bugs in the vanilla game and also to integrate mods that are good and improve the experience but don't radically change the game. Feel free to list fixes or mods that you would like to see in the new mod.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1907549421&searchtext=patch This is a Community Patch mod and should definitely be in the new mod. I really don't know why this mod hasn't been integrated into the vanilla game yet.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=692716800&searchtext=patch This Decisive Battles mod should be integrated as an option. I personally definitely prefer more decisive battles. Not sure why they ever changed that.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1593404066 This Unlimited Focus mod removes the ridiculous and annoying 5 year cooldown on Focus selections and allows you to change your Focus whenever you want. I really hate the Focus system that was introduced in the Conclave DLC in general. It locks too much gameplay behind a 5 year cooldown and limits what your character can do too much. In my opinion your character should be able to do all the basic things in the different Focus. And choosing a Focus should be how you unlock the higher level Focus things.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1582535080 This Animism Fix 1.2 mod fixes a bug. I don't know if it's already in the Community Patch or not.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1581542560 This No Doctrine Bonus Overwrite mod fixes another bug.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1407740180 This Choose Your First Wife mod seems like a good idea.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1757227395 This Prisoner Marriage mod seems like a good idea.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1573913593 This Old Russian Coat of Arms seems like a nice one.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1880498534 This Less Random Deadly Duels makes duels more logical.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1761290020 This Better AI: Roleplaying Character Focus mod makes AI characters choose Focus that matches their traits more often. They made it 92% but I would probably only make it 50% or 51%.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1760888942 This Better AI: Roleplaying Education Focus mod makes the AI choose more logical Education Focus for kids. Not sure if I like this mod or not personally.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1445160569 This Crusader Mounts mod adds horses as an artifact.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1588484784&searchtext=book+slots This More Book Slots mod allows you to store more books in your inventory. 4 to 16.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=685428427 This Seduce Anyone mod allows you to seduce people regardless of their gender or religion.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1793382401 This Pyramid of Giza Active For Everyone mod fixes a Pyramid bug.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1932428059 This mod allows you to toggle Raiding at any time.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1928471777
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1234587186&searchtext=rulership These mods make the Ruler Focus events fire more often so it's more similar to the other Focuses.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=506111052&searchtext=rulership This mod makes the Focus less restrictive basically. Makes it so the Rulership Focus allows you to do basic things from other Focus. Personally I really hate how the Conclave DLC made things so restrictive.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=457931597&searchtext=rulership This Fixed WOL mod changes how the AI chooses Focuses. I don't like all the changes but some are good I think.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1828418739&searchtext=law This is better in my opinion.

Something I would like the new CK2+ mod to do is explain things in more detail on the Focus screen. When you select a Focus on the Focus screen it should tell you what actions it allows you to do/unlocks. Because this is very important information. You shouldn't have to go to the Wiki to find it out.

Another thing I would like to suggest for the mod is to change how Focuses work. The Conclave DLC was very bad in general in my opinion. I don't like how it changed the Crown Laws. I don't like how it changed Obligation Laws especially. And I don't like the Focus system because it locks tons of basic things and gameplay behind 5 year cooldowns which is just ridiculous. In my opinion the Crown Laws and Obligation Laws should be returned to how they were before the Conclave DLC. And in my opinion none of the basic actions should be locked behind Focuses - your character should be able to do all the basic things. But choosing a Focus should make you better at those things and unlock the higher level actions.

Another thing I would like is when playing as a Nomad the ability to see what the population is in Holdings that you capture. This is currently hidden.

One of the two Historical Building mods should be integrated. Colored Buttons mod should be integrated. Improved Genetics mod I think should be integrated.

I also would like to see the mod include the brutal Crusade against the Cathars in Europe and the massacre of the Templar Order.

Also, I would like to see the Holy Orders actually have all the Holdings they did in real life. I think they owned a lot of land and property. Anyone watch Knightfall?

Also, the Holy Orders should have their own Societies.

Also, taking hostages at the end of a war to ensure obedience. Like in Game of Thrones and like happened in real life. Should be added to the mod if possible. This happened A LOT in real life.

Add a Cousins tab to the Family relations screen. It's very strange that cousins are not shown anywhere in the UI.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=242450264&searchtext=bookmark These bookmarks should be integrated.

The Trade Routes I think should extend further West. I don't think it's historically accurate for trade routes to just end the way they do. Maybe the Western trade routes should only be half as profitable.

I think William Wallace/Braveheart should be in the game.

I would like to be able to put my Armies under AI control.

Mercenary Companies seem pretty useless in vanilla. I mean the one you can create by sending someone away to form.

Would be nice to have a way to notify yourself about certain dates with a note. You need to remember dates sometimes for cooldowns and stuff.

Even if you're playing as the Byzantines you should still be able to see the Crusade screen and the Holy Orders of other religions. It's annoying that this is hidden.

Wow, you sure have a lot of ideas!
I'm afraid I can't give guarantees on any of these. Rewriting the mod basically means first getting to a stage where we have like 50% of what was in the old mod. We aren't nowhere near done with religions, CBs, cultures and other basic stuff.
Also, one of the primary reasons for the rewrite was that old CK2+ incorporated many smaller mods. This added a lot of cool improvements much like the ones you listed here, but since we didn't write the code ourselves, it caused problems down the line like obscure CTDs and instability which we could not track down easily. Thus we decided to rewrite the mod from scratch and have only code in it that we understand and can debug/fix if it is broken. So I can basically guarantee you that we won't be incorporating any of the mods you listed.
Instead, we might provide a similar functionality, but coded by ourselves. So suggesting ideas is a valid thing - we've just not gotten far enough yet to think about including stuff like this. CK2 mod devs just aren't that many around, and we still only have a relatively small core team.
Another thing I can't give any guarantees about are personal preferences. Ofc you are free to share them, but if we e.g. made battles more decisive, I'm almost certain someone else would disagree and suggest the exact opposite. But rest assured that traditionally, CK2+ cared about balancing things that are not optimal in vanilla, and we will certainly revisit balance once the initial work is done. In fact, battles have already been looked at I think... you'll see when the rewrite is ready ;)
Some things on your list also fall into the category "not possible at all through modding". These include a Cousins tab (interface still mostly hardcoded) and putting armies under AI control. Not possible, sorry.

A few other things should be relatively easy to add, I and I shall take notes of them. For example a simple timer event should be easy to set up. How do you envision that? I would think the easiest way to code it would be adding a targeted decision on yourself, and an event that lets you chose a duration. And then once the timer is up, it would throw an event in your face saying like "Your timer set for [2] years has expired." It could potentially also state one of a few reasons (CB, marriage, other). Would that be like what you were thinking of?

Colored Buttons mod should be integrated.

It will most likely never be integrated. It's a very small mod that only affects the interface. As such, it's more a personal preference than a must have. You can happily use it along with CK2+ at any time, without forcing others to do so as well.

As for gameplay related mods, we'll probably have a stab at just about every aspect of the game eventually, but it may take a while. I appreciate your enthusiasm!

Dude just play HIP and be cautiously optimistic they will have the mod back up within the next two years. They have so much work ahead of them that this sort of content is probably years away. We'll be lucky to see the mod back with even the content it had before. I've seen many a wonderful mod die because the team just didn't have the time.
