I've got the "Ultimate Upgrade" pack in my "Owned" DLC section, but it's telling me that it cannot verify the ownership of the DLC
How do I fix this?

I see this in my Epic installation too now, and even a clean reinstall does not fix it. Not a problem in the Steam edition.

@Joanna_ifs is this something you can look into? Or is it PDX-side?

Heya!

So this is actually only a visual bug - the content should still show up normally in the game. We know what causes it but can't fix it just yet. @Unforgettable_14 can you confirm if the content is still showing up for you? Should be easy to check by going to the game and opening the radio channel menu - if you have two new channels, then the content is there! :)

The Founders pack shows up (though it disappeared for a few hours the other night) and the Ultimate Upgrade isn't there though. Is that an extra though or something we got from early access?

I also have this bug. I am both a Founder and have bought the DLC. No idea what parts of the DLC are supposed to be available at the start of a new game, and I've forgotten what radio stations are regular and what are founder (My radio screen shows Radio Armageddon, Wild Frontier, and Skylights) but the founder statue doesn't show up in my build menu.

EDIT: I just now logged into the launcher, my browser popped up asking permission to use Epic account details with my Paradox account. Hit 'allow' and both my Founder and Ultimate contents were activated w/ pop-ups in the main menu. To those who put in the work on this, many thanks!

@Kingjello Heya - I believe I have answered you on two other threads as well? Please do not post about the same issue on several threads, I will check all threads here and answer all issues I can. I believe in one of the threads you mentioned you did have the content? Is this the case or are you still missing the channels for example?

Hello
Buy game in EGS Store. And have the same bug. Founder pack, dont work in game, but used to work.

1) Ensure in the launcher go to the DLC tab and ensure "Founders Pack" is "Enabled" - ignore the warning triangle thing, its only a visual bug. As long as its "enabled"
2) When you're in-game you should get a prompt to link your game to Epic.
3) this should pop a new browser window where you should log into Epic where it will sync
4) restart the game

@StellarWolf Heya! Do you still see the content from the DLC? As mentioned above, the triangle itself is only a visual issue, the content (if you have purchased it) should still be visible :)
No there are preorder DLC things like custom logos and the Outback radio channel, we also got the Platypus unique scavenger etc that are all available when the DLC is working.. that currently do not appear because of this so the content missing is definitely not just a visual issue.

@StellarWolf Platy the Specialist is unlocked by signing in to your Paradox account, not linked to the DLC itself. Did you try the steps provided by Satoru above to get the other content visible?
I've been signed into my Paradox account for literally years, and have had platy and all the preorder DLC content before many times, but since this unable to verify ownership of DCL issue has been occurring NONE of that content including platy has been available in game. Maybe I'm just unlucky RNG wise with the specialists turinign up but Platy has not shown up in ANY game of this I've played where the DLC preorder content has been missing.

Satoru's suggested fix doesn't make any difference for me, the game is linked to epic just fine, I'll do it again though just in case it has desync'ed for some reason but as I say the content has shown up before and then just as quickly vanished. So unless the game is intermittently syncing and syncing at random?

Can you check the Paradox account tab in the Main Menu of the game? If it shows you as signed in, then Platy should be available already when starting a new game as one of the possible specialists you can start the game with. In any case, I would also really like to see a log of the game, can you attach it here? You can find it from

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Iceflake Studios\Surviving the Aftermath\

on your PC - it is called Player log and you should simply be able to attach it to this thread. Thanks in advance!

It says "Successfully Logged in " like usual in the account tab of the games main menu. And nope Platy is not available already to me when starting a new game and hasn't been for a LONG time. I have had him show up for hire though on the rare occasions the rest of the preorder DLC stuff is functioning. But appearing in game at the start I haven't had that for MANY updates.

log attached :)

@StellarWolf I would recommend logging out and logging back in, just in case the game somehow doesn't recognize you being logged in. Based on your log, the content for the Early Access DLC should be present - so to confirm, it happens occasionally, sometime you have it, sometime you do not?

I'll try re=logging as you say in case that was the issue. And to confirm occasionally.. it would be true to say I don't have access to it more than I do. For instance in my last four games it has only appeared once and even in that game it was gone again the second time I loaded that particular settlement. And as noted I haven't had Platy as one of my starting specialists for a VERY long time, I have had him show up to recruit once in the four games mentioned though, which in itself was odd as I didn't think he was in the recruitable pool but was rather a specialist we started with as a bonus? (at least that's how I remember Platy being).
