Since macOS Ventura the game wont launch

yes, i would try to launch even after reinstall

Same here, removed everything steam and paradox, rebooted, and then reinstalled everything, still not launching.

Same issue, game just hangs but never actually opens. Worked well on Catalina.

Was using Monterrey until now was working fine. On an M1 MacBook Pro 13, only issue was the missing texture for grass etc, so a little mac patch would be awesome to fix issues.

This was suggested by a user and apparently that solved it:

I found the solution, just because your system language, change it to English and reboot, will probably solve it. I just solve this problem

I have tried it on English, English UK, English US, Hungarian etc, with reboots in between many times, sadly it did not help with surviving mars.

Just set system language to English, rebooted, and still having the same issue.

I just updated my Intel iMac to MacOS 13.1 and the game runs fine. Are you all on Apple Silicon perhaps?

Hello, sadly I heard no news either. Let’s hope something is in the works and will be released soon with a fix for this issue as well. This issue only when apple silicon and Ventura is used together as far as I know, same mac was fine on Monterrey running the game.
