Hey, would I be completely out of line for engaging in a little self-promotion? I'm a sci-fi/horror author who works with Severed Press (which published Absolute Zeros and a couple other books on the official list), and my specialty is scientifically plausible monsters. There's a strong pulp influence to my stuff, but some of the big topics in my series include the interactions between geology and biology, colonies of communal bristle worms, and invasive species from beyond the stars. And sometimes zombie dinosaurs.
