Multiplayer - empire not showing to be chosen anymore at hot-join screen

Synthetic Dawn, Utopia, Leviathans Story Pack, Apocalypse, Megacorp, Distant Stars, Ancient Relics, Federations

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Started the game after the last update, been playing with 2 more human players both with custom empires, 15 AI empires (with decayed), the AI created other empires-vassals, for days (we already stoped saved and re hosted a bunch of times - last day stoped around year 2346, next day i host the game and one of my friends empire is not showing for him to continue playing, we ve tried to host from other computers the same save with no success, i've tried to load the auto-saves from before, no success, the only save that i've manage to see his empire again was 300 years behind.
If i load the save at singleplayer and do a console command "play 2" im able to play with my friends empire.
Observation: there is no crash, no dumps, no data its all clear.
The game was fine at 12/01/2021 and now at 12/02/2021 it is not.
As it seems its not only with us that this problem happens, a quick research show that this is an kind of old problem that keeps getting oversighted.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Im not sure, but the only major thing we did last time we ve manage to play was create a federation between us (only humans players, no AI)
