Enigmatic Fortress bug - too many events chain

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Once I defeat the Enigmatic Fortress, the event for either the army or science ship appears. The issue is that it continue to appear again and again the choice (every 10 seconds), even when I managed to finish the first step. You can see it in the screenshot. Also even if my fleet is present it fortifies itself again every 10-15 seconds.

I just got the same, makes the game effectively unplayable since you have to click the dialogue every few seconds, neither choice seem to break the loop. Guess the only way is to start a new game and never go near the Enigmatic Fortress again..

it seems the fortress is useing starbase mechanics where it repairs itself automaticly after you take it out and continues to do so.

Happened in my game too. I destroy the fortress and every 10s or so it gives me the event options again regardless of what I picked the first time as if I never picked one in the first place.

I got a bug that when i sent in the team it stopped there.
