Just picked up Teleglitch from Steam, excited to give it a shot!

Retina MacBook Pro, Core i7 2.7, 16GB RAM, SSD, 10.8.4.

When the game boots up, it's been pushed to the right off screen about 20%. I can tell because the Steam popup which is normally pinned to the bottom right is nearly completely off the screen to the right.

I'm imagining the menus are flush-right? I can see and hear the intro just fine, then it goes to a black screen with "Die More Edition" on the bottom left and nothing else visible.

Any tips?

Same specs, same problem as me. This happened after the last steam update.

Furthermore:
* Clicking Facebook connect works neither on this page nor or the registration page
* Actually submitting registration is terribly slow, it took a good 3 minutes before it submitted and I got my confirmation email.
* Clicking email confirm took another good 3 minutes.
 
Ah, makes sense. Others on the Steam forums are talking about issues arising from the last update as well. Hoping a new one rolls out quickly!

(I found the Paradox Plaza forum to be very slow last night as well, not sure if that's still the case; seems responsive now)

What happens when you try to run it in windowed mode?
Open settings.lua in your game folder and change
["fullscreen"]=true,
to ["fullscreen"] = false,
Does it work then?
 
Hi all,

Having the same problems running on a Macbook pro 15" Retina Display. I can actually play the game but the screen size is basically way off. I have tried to find this settings.lua file as epcc mentioned but i can't seem to locate it.

I've gone to the ~/Library/ folder and to steam-common-teleglitchDME but all i see is the teleglitch.app file.
 
You must right click and select "Show package contents" in the context menu.
The file's path is: Teleglitch.app/Contents/Resources/settings.lua
 
How to reproduce this bug

I get this same bug on my Windows 7 machine, and it's because I have the Win7 'magnifier' set to 150% (1920x1080 on a 55" display is a bit hard to read without bumping the text up).

If I disable the text enlargement (Display -> Set custom text size (DPI)) the problem resolves itself.

There is a mac setting as well for this to change the text DPI and I'm fairly certain it will make the game playable until the devs can fix the issue with DPI magnified setups.
