The pokemon-density seems to increase in this game - At some point, I simply want a feature to deactivate species-portraits.

Pfft.

There. 100% scientifically accurate space unicorn. Added within 0 major updates and after 0 likes on twitter.

Admittedly, added to the forum and not the game.

Still, I win.

Also, lolmemes, etc

Seems like some of the internet can't handle that Bronies have invaded. I wonder if we're going to have an increase of Fanatical Purifiers as a result...

I joyfully prefer see 10 new cute portraits than 1 new humanoide portrait, I dislike the concept of humanoid aliens, the elf portrait is particulary the worst portrait in game, I want play sci-fi not medieval fantasy in sci-fi suits.

I can actually find no way to disagree with this logic captain.

I like humanoid aliens but I prefer other alien types as well.

Still no space dragons (the fairy dragons sort of count).

Also still waiting for silicoid races @Wiz !

Since Stellaris is a game of choice, I think it would be fine to restrict certain sets if you wanted to. I mean, some people only look at this one way but if you want to play a Star Trek-style universe where there are only humanoids ... why not? At the same time, if you want a universe without humanoids, why not that too?

I don't see why this particular topic is so taboo. You can set up a lot of parameters for how your galaxies are generated, but there's no parameter to set up what kind of races of aliens you'd like to see other than force spawning? I might never use this option, and whether or not the dev team implements it I'm sure I don't really care, but I'm also completely fine with it being an option.

And I'd like to see at least one nonbipedal alien(except plantoids). Granted, maybe some of them already are but they don't look like that.
