Some weird "flickering" when zooming and moving the map with the mouse wheel button

Hello,



1) I noticed the following when zooming in or out with mouse wheel scroll... when the zoom is beeing applied, if i move the map ( by clicking the middle mouse button/wheel)...the objects kinda flicker or like jump from an old position to a new position real fast ( its like a flicker)... its not the screen that flciker... its jsut the objects...

2) when i open the In Game Wiki for the first time i can scroll but as soon as i click on a article or look for an article the scroll doenst work anymroe...


i tried with 4 differet mouses...

This is only with the mouse wheel? Scrolling with the keyboard does not do this?

Has this always happened since you've had the game, or it was okay up to some point?

Does this affect EU4 also?

thanks for your reply.... i never treid it with EU...i have EU in my colelction but never played it...

what do you mean scroll with keyboard ?
to replicate the flicker:
scroll to zoom... while it is zooming...push the wheel button to move the map...

to replicate the wiki not scrolling:
open the wiki in game ( scroll will be working)...click on an article ( scroll will stop working)



Edit: i just installed EU4...the flicker does NOT occur with EU4

By default WASD scroll the game map around. I thought PageUp/PageDown zoomed, but maybe I'm thinking of another game.

I could not duplicate this in the galaxy or star system maps on my machine. However

to replicate the wiki not scrolling:
open the wiki in game ( scroll will be working)...click on an article ( scroll will stop working)

this I could replicate - good! Please make a new thread in the Bug Reports forum here and report this, maybe attach a movie file showing it for QA there.
