So, Is The Game Worth My Money?

So, I have been wondering around this forum with the opportunity to get Warlock 2 for around 23 bucks or so and well.... It seems that there are some features in the new game that are splitting the community, especially this city limit thing. I like Warlock 1 but found out about it only about six months ago. I am sure this question has been asked before but should I buy this or keep on playing part one until somethings are fixed? I am leaning towards buying it but just not sure.

I've enjoyed it. It isn't worth it if you're buying all the cash grab editions, but it is definitely worth the base price, for me. Remember, any of the issues you have with the changes can be changed with mods post Apr. 10th. There will be others who tell you differently. All I can say is watch one of the Lets Plays for this game (MadDjinn is pretty good), and decide for yourself.

Thanks. Yeah, i am just trying to gather opinions. I am on the tip of a decision but just not there yet. I will take your advice on watching a Let's Play. I usually don't watch those but for strategy games it is different.

Since its so close I'd wait till the 10th and see what sort of tools the editor bring the community. Its already a great game worth 20 bucks IMHO but why not wait and let the community fix it up a bit.

I personally love this game and it is my personal favorite of all time. Worth any penny and I am hoping for some additional DLC in the future. I also got AOW 3 because I like to support strategy fantasy games but this is by far my favorite. If you like to make your own maps this is also a good game as an editor is coming out at release.

Well, on that same thought. Why not just get the game now for close to 20 bucks and then I will have it when modders start on it already?

And by the way, I enjoy it. Money well spent. But I see how people could get frustrated by just five cites on larger maps.
