This isn't necessarily a bug. It occurs when hyperlane density it set to its lowest. Those adjacent systems will fill in the rest of that sector if it's with range.

My sectors of Rihi and Darmug's Frontier are a good example of what you are seeing due to the Noas system being close to the Nekkar-Bajiol hyperlane
