Ok, yes England is very nice, however I chosen Sweden for this time... Maybe I will play with UK now, is one of the classic options...
Brandenburg is OP. Take Humanist and Influence in that order. Its a rough economic start but very fun once you get rolling.
Bohemia can be a solid choice as well, they have some events that can allow you to be the first out of the gate on the protestant movement and their ideas will make your country more stable during the transition.
