The advent of Below and Beyond creates enough game complexity that coop becomes an even more desirable proposition than it was already. Please consider introducing limited co-op play in which all players collectively run a single colony (same set of maps, etc).

- The goal of this co-op mode is for every player to have identical information/resources/access as the other players. You can already play a version of this Surviving Mars "co-op" via Lets Play Together on steam - this would add the ability for the other players to control their own mouse/keyboard interfaces and look at other parts of the map while the host was busy, instead of mutually controlling the same mouse.
- This mode allows some players to conduct exploration activities (scanning, underground exploration/digging/light building, asteroid scouting), while others gather resources, while others build colony infrastructure.
- Time control can be exclusively at the direction of the host or can be adjusted by any player (but host has override authority). Events are generated at the host computer and replicated for the other players.
