Prominence in 2.0? What happened to it? Why do numerous events still mention it?

Is it still active in the background, but omitted from character sheets?

In republics it will show statesmanship instead of prominence on the character sheet, since it is much more important concerning elections now.

However, statesmanship now appears twice on the character sheet:

I think this is an oversight. I've submitted a bug report about it. For now you can see prominence by hovering over the character's portrait:

Does prominence relate to prestige? In the families tab, you can see how much each person contributes to the family's prestige game. I'm having a hard time figuring out what drives it. It's not just jobs.

It's indeed not just jobs, but jobs seem to provide the most prominence. Being of the same family as the ruler, being in debt, being a disloyal successor/family head seem to impact it, as well as probably a handful of other things.
