Problem with forming Prussia in GC?

I have EU2 1.07 and the latest EEP mod.

Started a game with the Teutonic Order, and played through until I got the option to form the Duchy of Prussia. Since then (about 1540 or so), I have had NO pre-scripted events, and it is now 1766. :wacko:

Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? Perhaps the switch to the Duchy of Prussia is not coded right...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I didn't know of the problem but it could indeed work better. Good this was brought up. You have run into a dead-end when it comes to events. Did Brandenburg exist between 1615 and 1700 in your game? If they did you should have had the opportunity to unite with them. That wouldn't have been a very good idea though, since the game would have abruptly ended that way. Brandenburg can later, 1701-1760 form Prussia, and play on as them.
I think an event is needed for a human played Duchy of Prussia to become Brandenburg in the inheritence, not a game over. Then they could form Prussia. In this way many new events, leaders and cores would be yours. It's been overlooked, until now. Unfortunately it's too late in you game.

I don't think Brandenburg existed by 1600, it had been annexed by myself, so there would be no possibility of becoming Prussia.

Oh well, time to start a game as Brandenburg I suppose...
