No branch offices in self-made subsidiary?

Hi. When I conquer an empire or ask a small one to become my subsidiary as megacorp I can build offices on their planets. But when I create a vassal/subsidiary from one of my sectors I don't have the Corp tab available and can't build offices.

Latest version 2.2.7 on Xbox Series X with all DLC.

Is this new empire also a Megacorp?

If you make a new vassal/subsidiary from your sectors they become a carbon copy of you

Maybe you should be able to build offices in subsidiary corps? Would be nice. Had the same "issue" with a megacorp I conquered.

that isn't a bug sadly

you can't put branch offices on other megacorp ai empire worlds

it isn't listed in the console part of the wiki, but it is listed on the pc part of the wiki


"Branch Offices cannot be established on the worlds of an empire with Corporate, Hive Mind or Machine Intelligence authority."
