Normally, IF someone has both...a legitimate copy of Iron Cross and a legitimate copy of Darkest Hour...then he should be free to make such a mod...or have access to it!

I, too, have done an AoD mod using this wonderful Iron Cross map...and this is the reason why i am looking to buy the Iron Cross game!

Unfortunately...Iron Cross is not available...

So i wonder why the IC developers are troubled by your mod anyway!

I would hope not. However I will need confirmation future links won't be taken down, and I'm not sure at this stage how that might happen.
 
Ok, new link is up. Changes from last version are mainly minor naval tech tree and a couple of events and gfx I think, enjoy. Let's hope this one doesn't get taken down.

BTW if the game crashes on startup it's due to a new Steam client problem. You can start the launcher from the game folder directly in order to play if this happens to you.
 
The mod crashes on startup. Apparently gfx/blob cant be found, any way to fix this? I'm using DH 1.04 btw

That said, in the unlikely event you decide to do a French Revolution mod, a small note.......

Jacobinist should be LE not ST. The Engages were even more radical and demanded greater ramping up of the terror. ST should thus be either Hebertist or even Babouvist.

Ok, noted, my knowledge of the French Revolution is rather limited.

As for the crashing testing the new version myself then, I found no problems. As long as you start it from the core folder and not the Steam shortcut that is.

I used ultrarevolutionarist to replace Stalinist because the Hébertists and the more radical than Jacobin factions have been called that. I also replaced Robespierre HoG with Committee of Public Safety as it should be known that the Committee did government affairs during the Terror and he was just their mouthpiece.

I myself admittly don't know much about the French revolution except from a recent university course I took. Is anyone willing to do a cabinet for a Hébertist or Ultrarevolutionarist France(assuming let's say Hébert manages to outmanuver Robespierre and take over)

Just check out the 1792 mod from march for the eagles, the EVM Mod for Victoria 1, or the agc-eep project for EU2..You would have to convert over to DH, though.
