I got rid of my pc about a year and a half ago, and have only had my Xbox. I'm so glad stellaris has come to console, as I've missed it terribly. The control scheme are super impressive as well and I just can not stress how happy I am to be able to play this again. I do have a couple suggestions however;

First and foremost please allow us to speed up time further. It's bare able, but I find it rather agonizing the further into the game I get at max speed, currently at 110 years or so in.

Secondly, I may be missing something here but there doesn't seem to be a way to actual see what deals you've created. You can see that you have a deal, but after 25 years and with 6 different empires, I tend to forget exactly what I've got going on.

Third, I'm not exactly sure how you would improve it, but scrolling through the outline menu can get rather tedious, even when using the expanding and collapsing arrows. It's a bit nitpick but some improvement with that and increasing increments during trade deals would go a long way towards the feeling of over all tediousness.

I really look forward to the upcoming content beyond Utopia, as I think it was around 1.8 I got rid of my pc, and I simply cannot wait to see Leguin patch come our way, despite knowing it will be some time.

I agree speeding up time for the first three hours of gameplay will help mid/late game.

Conversely I appreciate that time to streamline my strategy and play style.

I routinely set up trade deals for 1 mineral for the sake of it. Better to set up increments of 50. You can judge by the symbols on the contacts screen. Assuming positive numbers means your on good terms with AI empires should tell you whom your likely trading with.

Yes the outliner can be repetitive, mayhaps part and parcel of the experience. A shortcut fleet selection would be ace, but is it even possible.
