My brother and I both bought Sengoku earlier after having played some CK2 campaigns and wanting a Japanese flavour, but we haven't been able to connect on multiplayer, even over LAN.

We tried creating a Hamachi network but that didn't work either. We're both on the same WiFi network, so I can't really see a reason why it's not working.

Anyone have any ideas? Or is it just not possible to play Sengoku in MP these days?

They shut down the metaserver a long time ago, but as far as I know there shouldn't be any issues using a direct IP connection or Hamachi.

Do other games work? I remember I used to have intermittent issues where I simply couldn't host a game of any type on my network, with no discernible cause.
