Multiplayer Not Working After 2.0 Update

Hey everyone,

With the 2.0 update earlier this week, a friend and I wanted to try out the new update and multiplayer, but after about 20 days we get an out-of-sync error with "countries, provinces, and armies." We didn't have any issues prior to the update and other Paradox games, CK2, work completely fine when we do multiplayer. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix this issue, or if we'll just have to wait for the next patch.

I've tried looking into this on my own, but most posts on the issue are from 2019. Any help would be great, thanks.

Only thing that worked for us was playing at speed 1 ... but it became impossible to rejoin the game once the savegame was 9mb...

You should probably also post this under bug report/tech support to make this issue more aware to Paradox.

I could finally continue my multiplayer game using "imperator_win_console.exe" in the folder binaries if it helps.

Thanks for the suggestions, but we still faced the same issue on 1x speed.

It didn't work well in 1.5 either, ever since the switch to the Nakama servers...

Yes unfortunatly since 1.5 mp doesnt rly work anymore. maybe with EU4 Playerbase Mp problems it will get addressed, maybe it will never.

we tried as well and didnt understand how to do it either Because you have to technically have two servers

With 3 players, it's much better with hamachi - desychs just every 5 years instead of every month^^

How did you do this? We didnt understand with there technically being 2x servers
