Armies move slow and battles last long in this game. This is a problem most Pdx GSGs have, but not the topic of the thread. That issue will persist as long as the current tick per day style pacing remains I suppose.
But there should still be some room for movement speed increase that could also add some flavor. These are already present in EU4 by the way and it only makes sense. An experienced, drilled army should be able to move faster. %100 experience giving %20 movement speed seems nice but numbers of course are subject to change.
Also, a talented general should be able to maneuver his army more skillfully thus results in a faster movement speed for the said army. A +%2 movement speed increase per every military attribute the general has seems fair. This can also be applied to navies with admiral which would also be nice.
Now we switch to tribes with a proposal of army movement speed for tribes exclusively. Maybe even a bigger bonus for migratory tribes. Also, don't give them a supply train unit automatically like civilized governments to reflect their uncivilized therefore less organized government. This would also emphasize their maneuverability, giving them supply trains immediately hinders their speed and maneuverability after all. Which should be their strong point in the first place. Disadvantages of not having that supply unit are obvious of course, but not out of place since tribes having a hard time with long campaigning should be a thing. That's not their primary style. However, you're not taking that option completely from them since they can always add that unit manually and their units are cheaper anyway IIRC.
Another thing tribes should be strong about is packing a punch above their weight or in other words strength in numbers. They should have a levy(!) size bonus, maybe even a big one.
Lastly, please rename that "levies" to clan or tribal retinues for them including levy size and other related modifiers to keep it consistent. Yes, that means another mechanic for them actually but they already have that! They have that retinues mechanic and play differently and yet they have the same levies tab and all the other stuff. Please change it, these kinds of simple things add a lot regarding differentiating governments which this game needs desperately.
