I am traveling and need to use my Mac Laptop. I thought to play CK2 the same way that I do on my PC, with my Steam Workshop mods. However, nothing that I do will make CK2 use them. Generally, the mods tab is disabled. If I leave the launcher open and unsubscribe then subscribe from mods, they are then listed but CK2 won't use them. Once I close the game, the mods are forgotten again and will not be listed when I open the program again.
When I check the Documents ▸ Paradox Interactive ▸ Crusader Kings II ▸ mod folder, there are zip files for the Workshop mods in the folder, but all are zero bytes in size. I checked this thread: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/ck2-mods-unavailable-mac.1412270/#post-26822045 and Steam has permission.
If I install a mod manually, it works fine.
