Modding question about how to shrink map size

Hello everbody, I recently saw this Performance Map mod and it was a huge boost for my potato pc. I'm a huge fan of Elder Kings mod and wanted to shrink map size so I can play the game faster. Sadly I couldnt understand the wiki since I dont have any modding experience. I succesfully removed provinces I don't want but I can still see them on the map...
Can anyone help me?

Hmmm....assuming you're talking about my Performance Map mod, since it's only one Performance mod with map shrunk.
It's not likely adopted for Elder King if you have no modding experience.
But if you are determined to do it, comparing what files been removed/modified in the mod, especially /map, /common/trade_routes and /common/landed_titles (The rest are less important)
And try to do the same things with the EK main mod.
