One of my biggest gripes with long CK2 games are dynasties. Since release of The Old Gods, and especially Charlemagne I noticed that in basically of my games Christian world became dominated with set of 5-6 dynasties, usually the same ones. Not only it lowers my pleasure from seeing the history evolving, but also screws up some mechanics like Seniority Succession.

Since Paradox is reluctant to introduce mechanics that would create cadet dynasties automatically, I came with decision that allows players to create new surnames for any ruler that is over 16.
Enacting this decision will create new dynasty for chosen ruler, his children and grandchildren by males. Beware though that it does not take into account matrilnear marriages.

Unfortunately, there is no way for me to make such dynasties customizable - they will come with random names. Those with customization DLC can switch into character's liege and customize it themselves. Useful in AAR gameplays :)
