Right. So, me and my friend are trying to play online. With the third option, and direct connect. We both have issues with direct play, cant make the game for some reason. When we make an open game, neither of us can find the game. So, I'm wondering what the issue is, and how to fix it :/
 
I haven't played Majesty in a while so I don't remember what the internet connection options are. I know you can play IP and I assume over LAN. One thing you might consider is trying LAN with Hamachi if you can't get regular IP working. Either way, make sure you have your ports open for majesty to connect through, also, if I recall I think Gamespy had a room for Majesty (I could be mistaken), you could try connecting through that as well.
