Linux. CPU usage goes to 100% in menu and fps is 4.

I tried CK3 when there was a free weekend. I could easily run and play the game.

So i decided to buy it two days ago.

The problem:
When the game launches, the program goes to 100% and when i get to the menu the FPS is around 5.

Things i've tried:
Delete launcher
Delete ~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/
Run in window mode.

Info:
Nvidia driver: 460.80

I see nothing in there to explain this. While we work on it keep an eye on the YOU'VE PLAYED time on Steam, if it approaches their limit of 2 hours STOP and seek a refund from them, as they will not honour that after that time.

in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

I assume CK2 runs okay for you?

I am an idiot.

When you asked if i could run CK2 i realized i hadn't tried running any games after i maunally updated my nvidia driver.
Tried another game; same problem.
Purged my nvidia drivers and downgraded to one in the repository and now it works.
