Lebanon - state religion

Thanks Paradox, great game experience!

I started with the tiny nation of Lebanon to learn a bit the mechanics (Released from Egypt). I have seen that Lebanon has shiite as state religion what is not correct for the Victorian Era. Most of the population were christian. Would be fine if you could change this.

Nevertheless, a great game! Thanks a lot.

Even today there is no political supremacy of Islam in Lebanon. And there is no need for. If you want to play a Near East muslim country in Vic3, you can play Syria, Egypt or Palestine

I have checked the Vic Files. I might have find the reason for it. State Religion is based on culture. Lebanese primary culture is mashriqi and mashriqi has as religion shiite. (See cultures)

Wait, religion and culture are locked together? That's really peculiar. I agree that the state religion of Lebanon should be a Christian faith although it should be widely tolerant/secular in orientation.
