Launcher not working again

What have you done with your latest update
1st game refused to launch even though the computer said it was running did some research we had to uninstall the launcher so we could play cities skylines
A few days ago thought try without uninstalling and YES working 1st time
Yesturday went to play and GUESS WHAT game not launching again tried to uninstall launcher then restarting game NOTHING
Have tried every suggestion on all forums and NOTHING has worked so am unable to play FULL STOP
The computer says it is running but it just sits on steam page

You can bypass the launcher by following these instructions:

- Download the attached cities.bat.zip file
- extract cities.bat from it
- Place the .bat file in your game's Steam folder (In the same place as your cities.exe)
- Right click the game in your Steam library
- Go to properties
- Select Set Launch Options
- Copy and Paste cities.bat %command% into the input box
- Select Ok
- Run the game

I know about this fix but the issue is can't find cities.exe file anywhere and the description you gave someone else hasn't helped

FINALLY done but why can't Paradox just make a working launcher not everyone likes playing about with programmes we just want to click and play

well at least it works i suppose, is this the same file for ck3, that i have recent similiar problems with. thanks

They both use the same installation of the same launcher, yes.

Post in CK3 tech support if you need help with that.
