Lack of people playing Multiplayer?

I am just wondering why we see such less numbers in open lobbies or even lobbies at all. I know its not that huge MMO like others and the servers are split but waiting 20 minutes even to find one 2v2 match seems weird. Are that less people playing this game? :ninja:

I believe the open lobbies are ones that people have gone and created. Matchmake matches people together who are also matchmaking. There are then a few different servers, US 1, EU 1 and EU 2. If you want to Matchmake, you have to be matchmaking at the same time as somebody else, with the same settings.

Personally I am using Matchmaking now a lot more than searching it through the lobby, it's easier to get a match (in my experience at least).

remember that the Tablet version is delayed. This game i rly want to get for my ipad. I think this game is made for it

First and foremost I believe this is due to the many servers. People are spread out, and when switching server both your shipyard and friend list go blank, which is a minus.

Also, as above posters said: tablet release still to come + use matchmaking or create games yourself.

With matchmaking I can usually find a match within a couple of minutes. Never seen it take more than five minutes.

With all the players split over multiple servers, its not surprising.
They should consolidate players somewhat better, also knowing how many play on each server would be useful.
