Syria and Iraq are regions of the middle east with their own tags, Kurdistan would just be the same. The name Kurdistan isn't an anachronism all.

The problem with all these breakaway states is that EUIV isn't a good game for playing a small nonexpansionist country surrounded by big empires. A expansionist Kurdish empire would just be 'any other multicultural Islamic dynastic empire'. It wouldn't have anything unique over the Ottomans, Mamlukes or Saffavids apart from the lack of historical basis.

Tagalog isn't actually the national language of the Philippines: it's Filipino. The two are largely the same, and both should be understood by most Filipinos, but they do have significant differences in vocabulary (with Filipino having far more words from other languages, especially Spanish).

All of which is basically an excuse for me to complain that dammit, there should be a Filipino culture group in the 1444 start!!! Screw having to take a later start date if I want to paint the map Filipino!!!
