W/land divisions, it's possible to change upgrade paths (e.g. from CAV to MEC). Is it possible to do the same thing w/brigades? (specifically from ART to SP ART)

Playing KR if it matters.
 
Not possible even if we can maybe create a mod for that. (+ by the way something for the AI to stop brigade its units with anything ? I have already seen several times Mot with Art and other absurdities...)
