Installing 1914

I know many gamers will have no problems in installing 1914 but I have to admit I struggled to load TGW over HOI despite an idiots guide.

Could I make a plea for the installation of 1914 to be as pain free as possible as I came close to giving up last summer.

Unfortunately not all of us are as computer literate as we would wish

I'm quite sure the process will be pretty easy. A good example would be the HSR mod.

Lazlo, TGW 1.0 came with an installer - I imagine that 1914 will have a similar facility to make things a little easier.

We found moddir to be a pain in the backside for TGW, so no, it probably won't be in that format.

All you really need is enough diskspace to install two copies of HOI2 on your computer.

I"d like to ask new to HoI mods that when I install this mod,can I still play original HoI2 without installing HoI2 second time.Or will there be own icon for 1914 and own for HoI2,like 2 separate games.Hope some1 get my point,my text is very confusing,even myself dont understand it.

This mod is still being designed and won't be ready for some time.

However, the earlier version we did for HoI1 had to be installed separately, as a different game with its own icon. 1914 will probably be similar.
