Installer Wont Load

I finnally got the game after finding it at a computer store in NYC, and now I have a problem. I meet all the system requirements but when I hit install on the installer the game freezes and nothing happens which is beginning to annoy me severly.

I'm having the same problem as well. I don't think the disc itself is bad though, since I can install it to my desktop with no problems, it's just my laptop that refuses to read the disc.

And, since you'll be asking: the CD is labelled 1029586-002 and ID=1669. I'm using a Matshita UJDA740, and the drivers are up to date.

Whatever you do, don't try and call them...

Because they don't answer their phones...

All I get is a recording telling me that I will be with a tech support guy soon... After 30 mins I hung up...

And today I am getting the same thing... grrrrr...

Will try the E-Mail, but not looking forward to this...

Since Paradox does not write the installer for SF it is hard for me to diagnose the problem.
