I'm not sure why I was allowed to, but I have the game installed on my Macbook running OS X. If the Mac version doesn't release for another month then what do I have installed?

If you loosely define the term playable. It launches and I actually completed the first mission, but you can tell there are things not working correctly.
Note that Ancient Space is not officially out yet on Mac OS. Even though you are able to download it from the Steam Client. We cannot provide any support or guarantees yet unfortunately. Later this month the game however will be released on Mac, please keep an eye on our forums as we'll be announcing that here.
