I cannot play anymore

I bought the CD of this game by Paradox as soon as it was published and played it extensively without any problem till today.

Now suddenly I cannot play it anymore and receive the following error message:

Error in War3D Real Time War Game Engine by Norm Timpko. The Application will be closed.

I have uninstalled the application, cancelled what remained, and reinstalled it again with no avail. I alwais receive the same error message.

I feel dejected and hope You can help me. If You need more information let me know but please be specific because I am not a computer expert.

In the program folder for the game (C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Take Command - 2nd Manassas), there is a file called TC2M.log. If you double click on that file, it should open via Notepad. Please take a look and if there are any error lines, copy them and paste into a message in this thread.

Actually you copied the TC2M.ini file not the TC2M.log file.

If the log has only that one line, then there is definitely something very wrong. Come over to the official MMG forums and we can see what we can do to help you out. Probably easier for all of us.
