I have just discovered some new tank designs, which I would like to post here to get some feedback on the way you are building them. I was in the best stuff camp before and had built really expensive tank models, but now the goal is to go to a point where the stats per production cost are optimized, while maintaining high speed and reliability, etc.. My models are for about March 1941. Maintenance company II researched, all tank divisions have a maintenance company, Henschel team.

My goal is 100% reliability with the maintenance company, this means:
95,2% reliability with maintenance company I
90,9% reliability with maintenance company II
87,0% reliability with maintenance company III
83,3% reliability with maintenance company IV

Garrison tank:

in 1936.

Pz. II C.jpg

with Henschel.

Pz II D.jpg

This is the final version, that I intend to use at least until the end of 1941.

Pz III C.jpg

I do not use it, but jump from Pz. II to Pz. IV.

Pz IV.jpg

The B version gets radio III, once it is available.

Pz IV D.jpg

In mid March 1941 with improved medium gun. Now with quite decent stats.

in the latest patch, things are simple: go max armor with wield armor if you need armor, and try to keep reliability around 80%. Turret may stop at 2 men to keep speed high.

Of if you don't need armor, go max soft attack or cheap cost, good for armor recon support.

I intend to go from reliability 100% down to 83.3 %, as the maintenance company techs are researched. So with maintenance company II, the goal would be 90.9 % (1.1 * 90.9 = 99.99 %), with maintenance company III 87 % and with maintenance company IV 83.3 %.
The turret is a good point, though you loose 4 breakthrough. In my next game, I'll change the Pz III to two man turret.

if you're playing single player game, or use tank destroyers. You can replace the "Medium Canon" with "Improved Automatic Canon" from AA2 Tech. As the stats are roughly similar, save for a loss in piercing. But in exchanged Improved Auto-canon is cheaper.
