What the what. This thing has massive health, and I can't time when to hit it, nor do I know where. I saw that I can deal some damage right over its health bar, when it is uncovered, but I die too quickly to be able to kill it that way.

When it opens its maw, you want to do two things: start to move all your ships in different directions (so that it's massive railgun can miss) and to fire all available rockets at its head (and any other heavy weapon you can bring to bear). The rest of the thing is pretty much invincible, as is its head as Long as it is shielded by its mandibles. The rest is honing your timing.

If I don't get it after a couple of tries, I'll just dive into multi.
