I've just bought the HOI3 collection on steam. This means that I get HOI3 and all the expansions and DLC's (mostly spritepacks). When I went to register the game I saw I could register "Hearts of Iron III Collection", but I don't have a code for that. I only have a code for Vanilla HOI3, Semper Fi and For the Motherland, but not for the Collection? Can anyone explain this plz?

Steam seem to do that. EU3 Chronicles contains EU3:Complete plus two more expansions, but it had a code in its own right - nevertheless Steam choose to supply a code for each of those three components, rather than just one for the bundle. You can ask them but this sounds like the same thing.
