Which is a shame, considering that High and Low Andalusian helmets (adorned and normal) look different in an awesome way.

Will we eventually get some kind of improved model for an adorned Christian Iberian helmet for High Nobility?

Speaking of the Andalusian helmets, almost nobody wears them in all of the medieval eras, which is also a shame.

Yeah. Most of the Muslim rulers in Iberia aren't Andalusians, so they don't use this set of clothes.

Is there a selectable entry for both High or Low helm and then the visual is just the same? Because then it is hopefully just a bug.

Yep, there are two different entries: high and low, and the model is the same for both.

Andalusians specifically don't use them either. The other arabic cultures in Iberia use the helmet just as frequently (or rather infrequently) as the Andalusians. Seriously, I looked at all of the islamic characters in Iberia and found only two dudes wearing them out of like fifty armoured characters. Pretty sure they weren't even Andalusians.
I will keep experimenting with the Andalusians to see if they wear it more often though, just to be absolutely sure.

Edit: Double checked the Andalusians in the 867 start date. Only one Andalusian is wearing it out of dozens. Everyone else wears every other arabic helmet but that.

Just chiming in to say it's not a bug, there's only one helmet mesh, there's 2 entries both using the same mesh (entity), perhaps as a placeholder for possible future asset development, who knows!

And it's not just a bug in that file, there is only one folder for fp2 christian war assets

And only the one mesh in there, (the other 2 mesh files are blendshapes)

RE: Andalusian armor in the new patch - the helmets appear more often, they fixed a trigger preventing the un-adorned helmet from appearing and bumped up its weight to 90. The body armor should get a similar bump up in its weight to make it appear as well.

Also as with all Iberian clothing, it is triggered by living in Iberia and either being Christian or Muslim - it is not culture dependent. For the Christian clothing it is additionally designed to only appear in clothing eras 2 and 3 now (IE before 1300). Some of the armors in particular may be hard to see find in the current patch since some of the western varieties are weighted 90 where the Iberian ones are weighted 60 - this is an improvement from 1.9.0 where many era 3 western helmets were weighted to 100, making them the only possibility to appear.
