In the country selection screen menu, I zoomed out all the way so I could pan the map over to the nation I wanted to play as, Cusco. When I zoomed the map back in, but before I selected the nation of Cusco, the game froze. Clicking on nations would still make the sound of a nation being selected, but the screen would not update with the changes, nor was I able to continue to move the map afterwards. I was able to recreate this issue multiple times by doing the same thing: zooming out the map, scrolling over, and zooming back in to a different nation.

It also seems to happen when I pan my camera over to the New World in general.

This is a bug that only happens in certain integrated AMD Vega installations. I'm not 100% sure if it's an actual game bug or issue with those drivers/hardware, but it has been the case for many years so you'll need to keep that settings like that until you get a different computer, or at least video hardware.

All the best!
