So I figured we could try and iron out some of the difficulties for FTG in multiplayer by setting up some kind of testing with different versions of windows, connections, hosts, etc.

I'm sitting on 1 computer with Win 7 32-bit and 1 with Win 7 64-bit. It would be good if others with other kinds of builds could join in so we can get some answers here.

Depending on when and how long this will take, I'm willing to help you on this. Take notice, though, that I don't much experience in this type of things or knowledge on software and hardware stuff. I'm on Windows XP, 32-bit. So, if you think you can use my help, just tell me when and for how long to see if I can jin you.

Ok, are you guys on ICQ? Numbers etc.

Ok. School has calmed down a bit and I got time again. People still interested in this?

I have been hosting all day LAN FTG games for the last few months. We have 3 32-bit xp and one 64 bit windows 7. About 50% of our attempts to launch the mp game cause an error forcing us all to back up and try again. Once we get a successful launch we can usually play for 2 hours before someone has a crash. This is on WiFi.

poor Ego, vista is slowest and worst system in a world
7 and xp are much better

(i have laptop with vista32, duck it)

I experienced a good FTG-MP session yesterday. There are several things to remind though:
Everyone must run FTG as admin.
FTG should be run in the win xp sp2 compability mode by everyone.
