I am just wondering and curious. What would it have taken for the French to sue for peace? What would the French be willing to negotiate on? I am just wondering what was realistic and what is in 1914. Thanks. From everything that I have seen here, everone is doing a fantastic job!

IIRC the terms for French surrender in TGW were roughly similar to those in WW2 Vichy creation.
Except it only works if Russia is not at war, and Vichy is not created.

In TGW, a couple of french mainland provinces had to have been lost, Russia (or Britain) had to be defeated.
