I lamented this in another thread:
Perhaps it is impossible to do in a forum. Perhaps it is healthy for creativity? However, I just see topics continually being repeated with people struggling to think up ideas that were already thought, while great proposals are buried, and we can only hope that they are rehashed or at least remembered.
I am unsure of how we should approach this. Merge all threads of the same topic? Keep them centralized? However, ideas would still be buried under all the thread pages...
Create a categorized idea thread/document? However, who decides what gets in? under what critera should it be pruned so that it is concise and manageable for reading and organizing?
Is this even worth doing at all? I just feel that the energy used on this repeat cycle of ideas and threads could be put into something more linear.
