It seems Crusader King 2 will be available on Linux according to steam:

Is there chance to see EU4 on Linux?

What is paradox policy for multi-platform game, can I buy a copy of the game and install it on any platform available or do I need to buy a Linux/Windows/Mac for each different system I may own? (will those linux versions be available on GG?)

Ported by a third party company like for the Mac version I suppose?

mac is done inhouse nowadays, so i guess linux would be as well..

It's nothing to do with Paradox, it's a distributor choice. Steam distribute games on all platforms they support, so you only need to buy it once. But otherwise pre-CK2 games like EU3 where Virtual Programming did the Mac port you'd have to buy the game twice, once from say GamersGate for the PC version and once from VP or the Mac store. What GamersGate's attitude is to CK2, where Paradox did the Mac and PC versions, I do not know offhand.

I received both PC and Mac versions for several games on Gamersgate (e.g. AI War, Tidalis, Osmos), paying just once, so I suppose that's their policy.
