Endless airplanes and tourist decline

I seem to be having a problem with my airport. I'm getting a way bigger number of planes visiting, so much that it's clogging the airport and the sky is full of them, but none of them has any passengers. At the same time my tourist numbers are going way down, so lots of my tourist businesses have the No Customers bubble. I tried deleting and rebuilding the airport and reloading my save, but neither of those solved the problem. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure, but I think I might have a similar problem like you. In my game the busses are the problem. No passengers are in certain bus lines and not a single one enters although they wait at the station and busses stop there. So empty busses drive through the city to commercial zones. As a result my comercial zones are collapsing too, since I got the problem. Are you only having problems with the airport or with bus/metro/train too?! What mods do you use?

Hi there,
i got the same situation while running a 350k city for days now. yesterday i had like 20k CIMs using my metro and having like +10% tourists using them too.
but loading today i got 7k using metro +9 tourists. looking into transport panel, CIM dont even go into the metro or any other transport like busses anymore. when the puplic transport comes by with 0 passengers in it and it will leave with 0 passngers. planes arrive and leave with 0 passengers too.
the spacelift monument brought yesterday close to 1k tourists and today not even 100 anymore.

i got a mod which checks what updates of other mods are incoming, but today nothing got updated.

I only have 60+ population and I already ran into this problem!! It happened to two cities already . one with only 50+ citizens.....
