Ok, we have been working on the actaul military leaders but i think we should do a bit of thinking on the end game pics.
Heres a List of possible leaders:
China: Sun Yat Sen or Chiang Kai Shek
Italy: Mussolini or Victor Emanuel III
Germany: Hindenburg? maybe the Kaiser?
Albania?: King Zog
Soviet Union: Lenin
Turkey: Mustapha Kemal Attaturk
Poland: Pilsudski
Czechoslovakia: ? Benes was only president in 1935
Austria: Dolfuss or Karl Renner (second more likely)
Hungary: Admiral Horthy
Bulgaria: Boris III?
Ukraine: ? one of the Hetman maybe?
Japan: Hirohito
South Africa: Jan Christian Smuts

Well its getting late and i have to go to sleep
I hope this info is useful etc.

A Kaiser picture

not sure if it's useful, though. It's a pic of him in exile, after all. If someone has a good colored picture of Friedrich Ebert (1st chancellor, and later 1st president of weimar republic) or old Hindenburg, I can make leader pictures out of them. just drop me a PM...

I can't do black and white pictures, though...

And with color pictures, it's much easier to get it done well if the image is as large as possible, and the colors rich and heavy in contrast. That way you can get a smoother picture and better edges. Also, it's much easier to tone down an overly colorful picture than it is to colorize a pale picture.

I made a Sun Yat-sen in my works.Have u seen it? If the one is not OK I can make a new one.

your leader pics are good, just they have little green bits surrounding them, if you can get rid of 'em it would make the leaders look a lot nicer. But well done with the Chinese warlord download, we could use your stuff in the mod.

Karl, can you do a Lenin pic from the pic in the starting screen?
The picture is kind of 'smudgy'... it may be hard to get it to a uniform skin color but I'll give it a try.
It may also look a bit 'cut off' on the final screen... his posture is very wide and I may have to cut the elbow off to make it fit. The Flag will also have to be cut.

A picture that has him standing upright, visible at least to the thighs and with more uniform colors may give better results.

Of course I can, but I actually rely more on you guys to provide me with pictures. I have my fun working with the pictures, not shuffling through 100000 google hits looking for them. :)

Well, here's a take on Lenin.
